Miss Rich Named as Team GB Flag Bearer at the Maccabiah Games

We are proud to announce that Miss Rich (Class of ‘21 and PE staff member) and 16 of our students will be representing Great Britain at the upcoming Maccabiah and JCC Games this summer.

Miss Rich has not only been named the captain of the Open Netball squad but has also been selected as one of the Flag Bearers for the Games, carrying the GB Banner. Miss Rich says:

“I am so excited for the Games this year and to be representing my country for the third time as athlete. I am even more honoured to have been chosen as both Netball Captain and Flag Bearer for Team GB. Especially now, it feels more important than ever for Jews around the world to come together over a shared passion. I am extremely proud that so many of our students will also be participating, and I can’t wait to lead them out at the Opening Ceremony and support them at their respective matches!”

In the coming weeks, we will be spotlighting the rest of our incredible student athletes who will be playing across seven different sports.
