Jewish Enrichment

Alongside regular programming, we also provide a number of special events, aimed at further enriching and inspiring Immanuel students.  Students in the top sets in Years 7-10, take part in a ‘Boker Iyun’, ‘morning of learning’, where the students explore one topic in greater depth with guest educators.

Girls in Year 10 -13 are also able to join our Girls’ Scholar Programme, where they learn how Judaism applies to topics that they learn in school, such as Philosophy, Psychology, Science, History and more.

For the Sixth Form we host an ‘Israel Education’ day. We have been privileged to host the Israeli Ambassador to the UK for the past three years.

For every festival and special occasion, whole school assemblies are held as we come together as a community to mark important days in the Jewish Calendar. The Chief Rabbi has addressed the school on Shabbat UK and dynamic guest educators run regular Lunch and Learns for the Sixth Form before each festival.
