The Role: We are seeking a reliable, pro-active and diligent individual to join our Art Department. Duties will include organising art materials and equipment for lessons, creating visuals and presenting art work for exhibitions, as well as providing general administrative support for the department. The successful applicant should be proficient using a Mac and PC and must be able to supervise pupils, who could be using machinery, with confidence.
The Department: We have four art teachers in our busy and creative team and rely on our technical support for the smooth running of lessons. We are a very successful and ambitious department. We regularly receive Level 8/9 for GCSE results and A* for A Level Art. We work in art, craft and design so our artistic outcomes range from digital media, textiles, fine art to large sculptural pieces. We experiment widely and are always looking at finding new and exciting media to work with.
