Leave of Absence Requests

The information below is for parents of pupils currently in the College.

For absences not known in advance (generally for illness/medical reasons):
To report your child absent on the day, please either email Absence@immanuelcollege.co.uk or telephone the direct line for pupil absence 020 8955 8937 and leave a message, naming your child, the date, their form and the reason for the absence by 9:00 am. If neither of these things is done, staff from the College Office will try to contact you on the day, but if we cannot reach you, then the absence will be recorded as unauthorised. 

For absences known in advance:
For any absences known in advance, please complete the Leave Request Form on My School Portal providing as much detail as possible regarding the request and providing any appointment information if applicable. We can only authorise absences in limited circumstances following current government guidelines. The Pastoral Team will evaluate the overall progress and educational best interests of each child before authorising absence, and for this they need clear information from parents.
