Term Dates
School Calendar
The school calendar is structured around the Jewish year and is divided into three terms: Succot Term, Pesach Term, and Shavuot Term.
As a Jewish school, we endeavour to align our term dates with the rhythm of the Jewish calendar and to accommodate the major Jewish Festivals, enabling students, families and staff to observe them fully and meaningfully.
At the same time, when setting term dates the school takes UK Bank Holidays and other school holidays into consideration wherever possible.
Opening Hours
In accordance with IS guidance, the school’s opening hours are as follows:
Monday - Thursday 8.25am - 4.05pm
Friday (Summer time) 8.25am - 2.30pm
Friday (Winter time) 8.25am - 1pm
As part of our commitment to Shabbat observance, the school operates an earlier finish time on Fridays (1.00pm during the winter months, and 2.30pm during the summer) ensuring that students and staff are able to return home in good time to prepare for Shabbat.
Further details regarding specific daily timings, including any seasonal adjustments, are published annually in the school calendar.
