at Immanuel College is seeking to appoint the following
Staff from September 2014
Specialist Part Time or Peripatetic Sp.L.D. Teachers to support students with a variety of specific learning difficulties, across the secondary age range. Duties will involve teaching one to one, pupil assessment for examination access arrangements and working closely with the current SENCo to identify and address the specific needs of our students. At least OCR Level 5 is required although Level 7 would be preferred. Experience of teaching touch-typing for SEND students would be helpful.
Full-Time Learning Support Assistants to meet the needs of individual students, possibly also working with parents to bridge the home/school gap. Preferably educated to degree level, applicants should be literate, numerate, well organised with good computer skills, excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team. NVQ Level 3 is desirable.
