Parental Involvement

At Immanuel College, parents are fully involved in decisions about the courses of study their children follow at each stage of their schooling and receive frequent progress reports.

As well as taking part in the Parents’ Consultation Evenings held for each year group, they are encouraged to initiate meetings with their child’s tutor and head of section should they have any concerns about, or wish for clarification of, any aspect of their child’s progress.

This partnership between home and school is assisted, where appropriate, by the expertise of the Teaching and Learning Department, supporting pupils with mild specific learning difficulties, and of the Careers’ department, which organises aptitude testing and a rich programme of work experience.

We also encourage our parents to get involved in the school community via the Parent Staff Association (PSA). Click here for more information.
