Pupils Mad For Marvellous Madrid

The Year 10 Madrid Trip took place during the second week of June. Twenty one pupils, accompanied by Mr. Abrahams and Mrs. Shooter, travelled out to the Spanish capital to spend five days visiting the main sites of the city, including the Palacio Real and Las Ventas bullring, as well as undertaking a half-day excursion to Toledo. On the cultural front, the group saw works of art by Velázquez, Goya, Picasso, Miró and Dalí in the Prado and Reina Sofía museums of art, with an afternoon spent in Madrid’s amusement park offsetting all the culture.
