Leading The Way

Immanuel College hosted the first seminar of the Alan Senitt Community Leadership Programme on Wednesday 1st February. This programme has been set up by the Alan Senitt Memorial Trust as part of its work to empower young people to become community leaders. Ten of our pupils from Year 10 met forty pupils from other schools. All were eager to meet people from different faiths and backgrounds. As past years have shown, this programme is extremely successful and will help equip a new generation with the skills needed to become future communal leaders. Our pupils inspired and impressed during the day as they led a question-and-answer session on what it means to be Jewish.
