I felt more excited than nervous on my first day at Immanuel College. I wanted to start a new school feeling happy and comfortable. I've been here for three weeks and I'm having the time of my life.

Year 10 Maths Enterprise Day

Immanuel College Year 10 students participated in a Maths Day on the 28th June, which was organised by NatWest’s “MoneySense for Schools”.

The students were asked to divide into groups and plan a Year 13 Prom, taking on the roles of: project manager, finance officer, catering consultant and marketing executive.

After assigning the roles, the groups had to plan a menu and seating plan, design the decoration and/or theme, show how they would manage the set budget and present their ideas to the teachers who were posing as the financial backers.

Overall, the day was a great success. The students were enthusiastic and each group came up with creative ideas and themes. They all completely loved the Maths.
