Time to 'Crack the Code'

Tuesday, 9th June 2009

The Immanuel College Science department hosted Year 5 of the Independent Jewish Day School to a ?crack the code? Science morning. In the Biology lab, the pupils used our powerful microscopes to look at tiny pond life and discover the difference between hair colour types and in the Chemistry lab, pupils were able to make use of a selection of chemicals to test acidity and produce gases. The Physics experiments challenged the pupils with optics and measurement puzzles. All activities generated letters to a password and in the Physics lab, the password unlocked the computer.

We would like to thank the Lower 6th Scientists for their help in making the event so successful.
