Mr Denby, Head of Science at Immanuel, reports that our students were excited by the outstandingly high standard of the lectures, particularly those given by Professor Eilam Gross of the Weizmann Institute on “The Large Hadron Collider – In Search of the Good Particle” and Dr Amir Amedi of the Hebrew University on “Bionic Man: a Dream or Reality,” which examined scientists’ efforts to develop a robotic eye.
