Rounders Success for Year 7 & 8 Girls

The Immanuel College Girls’ Rounders Club has thrived this year, with as many as 45 girls attending lunchtime practices. Earlier this week, girls from Years 7 and 8 participated in the annual Maccabi Rounders Tournament, held at the JFS School. Immanuel’s Year 8 team, captained by Katy David, took third place. The Year 7 team won all but one of their games and were placed joint first with Yavneh College. Congratulations are due to all our players, especially to Chloe Gordon, Emily Balsam and Deborah Eder, on being designated outstanding players by the members of the teams of the other schools taking part.
