The recent Shabbaton has changed my outlook on life; the singing of Adon Olam for 20 minutes on Friday night was electric and when I looked around the room, I saw so many smiling faces it made me shiver. I have never felt so happy.

Rose Garden Concert

Although the damp weather moved us indoors to the JKT, the atmosphere at the annual ‘Rose Garden’ Concert was still relaxed and informal. The concert opened with various numbers from percussion and guitar ensembles, as well as a great performance from a five-piece rock band. This was followed by some solo pieces, on a number of different instruments (including voice!), and a performance by the Vocal Group. The concert finished with an enjoyable and entertaining number which featured Miss Evans, Mr Herdman and Mr Garman in a band, together with some of the pupils. Many thanks to all who took part and attended!
