Wednesday, 19th December 2007

At a meeting of the Planning Committee on 18th December, Hertsmere Borough Council approved the construction at Immanuel College of a new two storey building housing a School Hall and classrooms. The new building will enable the College to meet the accommodation pressures caused by the public examination system without compromising its provision of facilities for recreational and sporting facilities. The new classrooms will replace the Portakabins currently in use.

Head Master, Philip Skelker, comments,

?I am delighted that we shall now be able to implement this exciting project, which greatly enhances the College?s educational provision and which is due for completion by September 2009.?
