Mask Making and Purim Clothing Collection for Tikva Orphanage in Odessa

On Wednesday 16th March, the organisation GIFT ran a mask-making session for pupils in Year 7 and 8. This enjoyable event took place under the sympathetic supervision of the Art Department, Mrs Graham and Mrs Amdurer. The pupils made masks to be delivered to the children at the Tikva Orphanage in Odessa, so that they too could enjoy the spirit of Purim. Once the masks, which were beautifully made, were finished, our pupils posed for photographs wearing not just the masks they had created, but also some of the fancy dress outfits, - hats, wigs, and colourful costumes, - they had collected for the orphanage.
