Immanuel Honour Israel's Fallen

Pupils at Immanuel College honoured Israel's fallen soldiers today at a Yom Hazikaron assembly. Guest speakers Mr Israel Ovitz, pictured here, and Mr Jonathan Taylor told pupils about their experiences in the IDF (Israel Defence Forces). The school choir sang “Mi Shechalam” by Didi Menussi and “Hamilchama Ha’achrona” by Chaim Hefer, and sixth form students recited the poem “Shir Lashalom” by Ya’akov Rotblit. Daniel Turek performed Chopin’s Nocturne in C# Minor and Joshua Cainer sang “El Male Rachamim”.
