Immanuel Girls Take Basketball Tournament by Storm

Year 7 and 8 Girls from Immanuel College took the Maccabi Schools Basketball tournament by storm on Monday 8th February, defeating JFS 20-0 and Yavneh College 18-8.

Their teacher Jamie Minter-Green said “With so many fine players in the squad, it was a hard decision to choose who to play. The girls played exceptionally well, exhibiting excellent skills on the pitch. These results show what our Immanuel girls are capable of when they are truly committed.”

Emily Balsam, Year 8, was named player of the Tournament, and there were notable performances from Danielle Shohet and Amber Carlin, Year 7 and Ofir Golan, Year 8.
