Deputy Israel Ambassador, Talya Lador-Fresher visited Immanuel College last week to speak to sixth formers in what proved to be a thought-provoking talk on the latest developments and challenges in Israeli society and politics.

The talk was part of an ongoing series of lectures aimed at deepening sixth formers? knowledge of the contemporary world; previous speakers have included musicians, scholars and faith leaders. During the talk, Mrs Lador-Fresher discussed a range of issues that are at the forefront of Israeli news such as Gaza, relations with Iran and the current situation between Lebanon and Israel.

Philip Skelker, Headmaster of Immanuel College commented: ?We were very privileged to have the Deputy Ambassador visit Immanuel College and I know our students enjoyed the lively debate that followed her talk. Our students? cultural and political horizons have been broadened in recent months by a diverse and accomplished group of speakers.?
