Dance Show Rocks Around the Clock!

Brightly coloured tutu?s and flowery pink tights were the order of the evening as girls in years 7, 8 and 9 took part in the Annual Dance Show, ?Rock around the Clock?. The show, now in it?s eighth was successful in raising �800 for the ?Little Friends? Orphanage in Botswana.

The dances were a mixture of Year Group dances to music such as Michael?s Jackson?s ?Thriller? and ?Mission Impossible?, small group dances in Hip Hop and Israeli style and a solo piece by Darcy Tarn.

One of the show's organisers, Gina Gerstein in Year 13, was highly praised by the school P.E. Department for making an outstanding difference to dance in the school and for her drive and enthusiasm since she began helping to organise the show when she was in Year 10. She has been a real inspiration for all the pupils.
