Colorado Ski Trip

Monday, 22nd February 2010

Over half term 28 intrepid students set out for Winter Park in Colorado.  On the first morning the students collected their skis, met their instructors and set off across the three mountain ranges.  Over the next six days all students improved their skiing immensely, with everyone making it to the top of the mountain by Tuesday.  The evening activities included a movie night, tubing, rock-climbing, and a games night, with the tubing being a firm favourite.

Over Shabbat, Mr Baigel, with his wife, led the students through the services, and everyone was grateful for his effort and hard work.  On Saturday afternoon all the students and staff went for a walk through the woods nearby, and the beauty of the scenery and fresh, deep snow were not wasted on our pupils.

It was an extremely successful trip, and I should like to thank all the pupils for their support, co-operation and company on the trip.  I know that everyone who came into contact with our pupils was impressed with their behaviour, manners and friendliness.  I should like to thank Mr Spitz, Miss Bartlett and Mr and Mrs Baigel for their help and support, which helped to make this trip so successful.
