Chanukah Art Workshops

Today, year 6 pupils from Kerem School took part in a Chanukah Art Workshop at Immanuel College. The children were taught new art techniques such as paper cutting using a craft knife, polystyrene tile printing of Chanukah images onto various surfaces using a wide range of colours, and collage; ripping, cutting and under and over-lapping to create interesting compositions. The result, with a little help from Immanuel College sixth-formers, was a unique Chanukah card, which they were able to take home at the end of the session.
