Book Awards - the Results

The votes for the annual Immanuel College Book Award have now been counted, and the results are as follows:

First

When I Was Joe by Keren David; nominated by Yaron Bernstein, 9NGA, Joshua Cainer, 11PM, and Nicola Solomon (parent).  This book certainly was the most popular among students of all ages.

Second

Cosmic by Frank Cottrell Boyce; nominated by Aaron Goldstein, 7RB, and Elianne Mahay-Goodrich, 7CS.
 

Third

The Battle of The Sun by Jeanette Winterson; nominated by Mrs. Leifer (staff)

Fouth

Out of Shadows by Jason Wallace; nominated by Joshua Cainer, 11 PM
 

Fifth

 Fever Crumb by Philip Reeve; nominated by Louis Gertler, 8FP, and Joseph Berenson, 11PM.

Sixth

Tiger Hills by Sarita Mandanna; nominated by Laura Goldstein (parent)

Thank you to everyone who promoted the Book Award and encouraged their students to read the books.  There are copies of these books in the library if any one wishes to borrow one.
