A clean Sweep for Immanuel College in the Maccabi Badminton Tournaments

There was a clean sweep of medals for the Immanuel College Badminton team at the Maccabi Tournament this week, when every member of the team received at least one medal. All of our doubles teams achieved one of the top three positions, and four out of the six pairs also won a medal after being voted the most sporting team in their competition.

The badminton team is (in pairs) Candi Altman and Ilana Young, Maya Lipman and Antonia Appel (sportsmanship), Tanya Abraham and Zoe Daniels, Katie Davis and Sara Peskin (sportsmanship), Nina Lipman and Emily Balsam (sportsmanship), Zoe Goulde and Miriam Woolfman (sportsmanship).

The Immanuel Girls? Table Tennis team exerted themselves valiantly challenging their opponents in a series of very close matches.

In the table tennis team are: Hanna Baderman, Hannah Goldstein , Jennifer Murad, Alexandra Dangoor, (who received a medal for coming joint first with a pupil from Hasmonean High School), Lauren Mullem and Tamara Gertner.
